Please note: If your current hinges are fine there is no technical reason to replace them. Our new doors will have a perfect fit to your current hinges. If you however are after the modern and luxurious SoftClose + SelfClose Technology we suggest you go with the new hinges at the same time as you replace the doors anyway.
Set of drawers
Drawers are usually ordered along with the cabinets. At this tab we list the sets of drawers as a separate product (without ordering a new cabinet at the same time). Perfect if, for example, you want to expand the storage in your existing cupboards or want to experience an upgrade with easy-sliding drawers with built-in “SoftClose”.
The width of the drawers refers to the outer width of the cabinet that is to house the drawers. For example, a drawer named “W=60” fit inside a Faktum cabinet with an outer width of 60 cm. The drawers are slightly smaller than their “name” to go inside the cabinets.
The drawers are offered in complete sets of 3 or 5 pcs. A set of 3 consists of 1 low cutlery drawer + 2 high drawers for pots and utensils etc. A set of 5 consists of 5 low cutlery drawers. All drawers come with easy-rolling sliding rails including SoftClose. Fronts are ordered separately and via the main Price & Ordering page. From there you will also be able to choose the colour + the profile of the fronts.

Please be informed: The following is important to understand if the new drawers are ordered without ordering new cabinets or new drawer fronts at the same time:
The drawer sets we manufacture today are slightly modified (better) compared to the older drawers that IKEA discontinued around 2015. The new drawers, for example, take more weight (40 kg/pc) and have more modern sliding rails and with more modern SoftClose technology built in. The new technology takes up more space inside the rails, which means that the attachment to the cabinets and the attachment to the drawer fronts is slightly different compared to before. However, this is not an issue if new cabinets and new drawer fronts are ordered at the same time as the new drawers. Then everything will be of the same model year.
However, these more modern drawers can be retrofitted relatively easily inside the original cabinets with a minor modification of the old cabinet itself. Just drill one new hole inside the old cabinet per runner. The runner itself may be utilised as a template.
We recommend that new drawer fronts are ordered along with the new drawers. Then the new drawer fronts will be pre-drilled according to the new standard already from the production with a perfect fit to the new drawers (other drawer fronts are otherwise pre-drilled according to the older standard and thus fit perfectly on the older drawers instead). However, the handy person can re-drill the older (existing) drawer fronts if they wish to keep them, while others may find this a bit complicated as the new holes must be drilled very close to the older holes. On request, we can include drill templates for the new standard with the delivery of the new drawers. Note that this information text only applies when new drawers are ordered without new cabinets and without new drawer fronts.
Base Unit Shelves
Shelves are usually ordered along with some new cabinets. At this tab we list shelves for IKEA Faktum and Rationell kitchens as a separate product (without ordering new cabinets at the same time). Perfect if you need to freshen up your kitchen after many years of use, after a water damage or if you have just moved in and want to spruce up your new kitchen from the wear and tear of the previous owner, etc.
These shelves fit perfectly inside of IKEA Faktum and Rationell cupboards with a depth of 58 cm. The dimensions refer to the OUTER sides of the cabinet. For example, a shelf named 60×58 fits in a 60 cm wide cabinet with a depth of 58 cm. The shelves themselves are slightly smaller than their “name” in order to fit inside the respective cabinets.
Each shelf is beautifully cut out below to enclose the included shelf supports, which thus neatly “sink in”. In addition, this cut-out means that the shelves are better fixed inside the cabinets. 4 shelf supports per shelf included.

These shelves fit perfectly inside of IKEA Faktum and Rationell cupboards with a depth of 35,5 cm. The dimensions refer to the OUTER sides of the cabinet. For example, a shelf named 60×35 fits inside of a 60 cm wide cabinet with a depth of 35,5 cm. The shelves themselves are slightly smaller than their “name” in order to fit inside the cabinets.
Each shelf is beautifully cut out below to enclose the included shelf supports, which thus neatly “sink in”. In addition, this cut-out means that the shelves are better fixed inside the cabinets. 4 shelf supports per shelf are included.
For a 70 cm tall wall unit we recommend a set of 2x shelves. And 3x shelves to go inside a 92 cm tall cabinet.
